Is het mogelijk dat de camera weer gaat draaien zodat er een beter beeld i van de verschillende werkzaamheden.

Tina, we are sorry to hear that you feel this way. We are always fully aware of the people who live near the construction site. We try to inform them as best as we can. The works we did last Friday were extraordinary, but they had to be done. We informed the residents of De Frontier with a letter and we've e-mailed you personally about what was going to happen. In the letter we wrote that the pouring of the concrete would start at 7 AM. We didn't write that before that we had to do some preparations, to be able to start in time. Furthermore we wrote that we expected to work Friday till 11 PM or later. We couldn´t promise you exactly when we should stop, because when working with concrete, it isn't possible to stop before everything is done. We will take lessons from this and will be more specific in our letters next time.

Lume, de werkzaamheden aan het betonnen spoordek voor de Frontier worden nu afgerond. De werkzaamheden langs het spoor beginnen nu. Daarom is de webcam ingezoomd op het spoor om deze werkzaamheden goed te kunnen volgen.

Fully agree Tina! It has been ridiculous how we’ve been treated the last last couple of years. WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO STICK TO YOUR TIMESLOTS? Absolutely disrespectfull. Don’t expect anything anymore from the builder. Timeframes are not respected, because there is just one rule: work has to be done and finished, nothing else counts. Is it sad that our local politicians dont step up for their us, CHP is above law. Luckily this project will last for a couple of years, what a big joke for local stakeholders. Be prepared, hemelvaart will be the next hell but don’t expect any sorry or compensation. This project is a big, very big shame for all people living nearby. Iam sure they will celebrate it in a huge way around 2030(?), it is bizar.

How "strange" that my reaction and criticism from yesterday disappeared from the website. Well, I will just write it again! 1. Works started at 06:20 in the morning and not 7:00 as promised in the letter. 2. Works kept going on the whole night and did not stop round 23:00 as promised in the letter. 3. Works and noise continue until this very moment and were not just for a few hours as mentioned in the letter. 4. People living in the area and especially in the Frontier were not offered an alternative shelter to spend the weekend It seems that CHP is above and beyond any rules! And it seems that animals have more rights than people living in the Frontier... I have no words anymore... I only wonder what to expect next. A mother of a baby of 9 days...

Is het - vooral voor de volgende grote happening - een idee om het licht van de schijnwerpers aan de kant van het viaduct niet op de webcam te richten of af te schermen?

Marjo, om het nieuwe Julianaplein te kunnen bouwen, leggen we inderdaad een tijdelijk Julianaplein aan. Deze krijgt de vorm van een T-splitsing. Voor het verkeer van en naar de richting Drachten gaan we een tijdelijke brug bouwen over het Noord-Willemskanaal. Deze komt tussen Gyas en de Julianabrug. Het gebouw van Gyas kan op zijn plek blijven liggen. De tijdelijke weg gaat over de Brailleweg heen.
